Looking through the lens of children experiencing homelessness, The Kaleidoscope project primarily seeks to instil a sense of belonging and autonomy amongst 7–11-year-olds who have experienced trauma instigated by displacement.

The kaleidoscope has magnetic slides in which children can place items found in the natural environment, such as leaves or petals creating a pattern within the scope. Encouraging outdoor exploration and ownership over learning, whilst linking to Montessori education techniques.
